Age Spots

Age spots, also known as liver spots, are brown or black blemishes on the skin that are often associated with aging and sun exposure. Age spots are generally found on areas of the body that are most exposed to the sun such as the hands, face, shoulders, arms, forearms, forehead, and the scalp if bald. Even though age spots are commonly referred to as liver spots, they have nothing to do with the liver and/or its functioning.
