Suggested general adult use: 3 capsules daily with meals or as directed by a physician. Following antibiotic therapy, take 1 capsule daily for 10 days to rebuild healthy bacteria in the body. Acute vaginitis can be treated by dispersing the contents of one half of a capsule in 10 ml of water and applied in the vagina with a plastic syringe. Apply once or twice a day until resolved. If irritation occurs, reduce the amount used or discontinue. A physician should manage unresolved vaginitis in a reasonable amount of time. Caution: A physician should be consulted in cases of unresolved diarrhea or digestive upset in children. Do not use in children younger than 2 years old unless guided by a health care professional who understands probiotic supplementation.
